MeetingEdge helps sales professionals prepare for meetings using AI. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and what we don't do with it. We wrote this to be clear and readable, not to bury important details in legal jargon.
1. Information We Collect
We collect only what we need to provide the service:
- Account information — your email address, and if you sign up via Google or LinkedIn, your name and profile photo as provided by those services.
- Meeting details you enter — company names, attendee names and titles, deal context, meeting type, and any specific questions you provide when creating a brief.
- Generated content — the briefs, debrief notes, and company intelligence that MeetingEdge creates for you.
- Usage data — which features you use, how many briefs you generate, and basic analytics to help us improve the product.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Generating your briefs — we send the meeting details you provide to our AI provider to generate your intelligence brief. This is the core service.
- Building your Deal Room — company profiles and stakeholder intelligence accumulate across your briefs so each one gets smarter.
- Account management — sending you transactional emails like brief-ready notifications, debrief reminders, and account updates.
- Improving the product — understanding usage patterns to make MeetingEdge better for everyone. We use aggregated, anonymized data for this — never your specific meeting details.
3. What We Don't Do
This is just as important as what we do:
- We don't sell your data. Not to advertisers, data brokers, or anyone else. Period.
- We don't share your meeting details with other users. Your briefs, company intelligence, and deal context are visible only to you.
- We don't train AI models on your data. Your meeting details are sent to our AI provider solely to generate your brief. They are not used to train, fine-tune, or improve any AI models.
- We don't use tracking cookies or ad pixels. See section 7 below.
4. Third-Party Services
MeetingEdge relies on a small number of trusted third-party services to operate. Each has its own privacy policy:
- Supabase — authentication and database hosting. Stores your account data and generated briefs.
- Anthropic (Claude API) — AI brief generation. Receives meeting details you provide and returns the generated brief. Anthropic does not use API inputs to train models.
- Vercel — application hosting and deployment. Processes web requests.
- Stripe — payment processing for paid plans. Handles billing information directly; we never see or store your full card number.
- Resend — transactional email delivery for notifications and reminders.
- PostHog — privacy-friendly product analytics. Tracks how features are used (e.g., brief generation, signup) to help us improve the product. Respects your browser's Do Not Track setting. Does not track you across other sites.
5. Data Security
All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel. Authentication uses industry-standard protocols (PKCE OAuth 2.0 for social logins, bcrypt-hashed passwords for email accounts). Row-level security policies ensure that database queries only return data belonging to the authenticated user.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data (briefs, company profiles, usage history) at any time by reaching out through our website. We will process deletion requests within 30 days. Some data may be retained in encrypted backups for up to 90 days before being permanently removed.
7. Cookies
MeetingEdge uses only essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. We use Vercel Analytics and PostHog for privacy-friendly product analytics — both respect your browser's Do Not Track setting and do not track you across other sites.
8. Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you via email or an in-app notice before the changes take effect.
